Welcome Message from Mr. Niese

Principal Welcome to Central Elementary School's official web page. I am Principal Adam Niese. I have been principal of this school of 375+ students since 2006, and was the assistant principal at Napoleon Middle School the year prior to that. I am very happy to be back in the community in which I grew up. I can speak from experience as a graduate of NAS when saying, "Napoleon Area Schools helps to inspire all students to excel in life by providing excellent educational experiences." I am very proud of all of our teachers and the district as a whole.

Central Elementary School is part of a large middle school/elementary complex, located in the heart of Napoleon (near the Henry County Courthouse and Napoleon River Bridge). Our school is rich in Northwest Ohio culture and history. The oldest part of our complex dates back to the early 1900's. This is evident in the historical architecture seen in the building complex.

It is very exciting to work in a building with students and staff that desire to keep up with the grand tradition of excellence the people of Napoleon have come to expect from their schools. It is refreshing to know that our community supports our schools. This is seen with the involvement of community members and our Parent Teacher Organization within our school. You all make our school a better place to be.

Along with our regular curriculum, we also offer a unique blend of the fine arts in our classes. This may range from painting, music, the study of authors, etc.

Our academic programs coupled with a variety of technology, arts, and health programs help to ensure that Central Elementary School is a place where ALL students have the opportunity to excel. Our staff and students prove this with the results of our state report card. The Napoleon Area School District consistently ranks well above the state average on the state report card.
